A journey of resilience, independence, and unwavering determination
According to multiple informational, governmental, and international sources, Prince Fred was born in Kuwait, later taken to Abu Dhabi, and subsequently transported to Persia (Esfahan) by his father. His early years were shaped by the crosscurrents of Middle Eastern politics and familial duty.
Following the 1979 Middle East revolution—specifically the change of regime in Iran, marked by the overthrow of the Shah and the rise of the Islamic Ayatollah-led government—his family, known for its political involvement, was directly affected by the upheaval. At a very young age, Prince Fred was left with few viable options other than fleeing the region.
He subsequently became a United Nations–recognized refugee, first residing briefly in Turkey before ultimately being relocated to Germany in 1981. This marked the beginning of a new chapter defined by displacement, resilience, and an unshakeable drive to succeed.
Prince Fred's formative years in West Germany were marked by displacement and resilience. Separated from his family as a result of political instability, he grew up without the security of a unified household— circumstances that required him to develop independence and self-reliance early in life. By his late teenage years, he was living in a refugee camp, supporting himself through various forms of work while continuing his education.
At just 19 years old, Prince Fred was balancing school with three jobs, assuming adult responsibilities well beyond his age. It was then that he made the pivotal decision to leave Germany and relocate to the United States, beginning again as a United Nations–recognized refugee. This move marked the start of a new chapter—defined by reinvention, perseverance, and long-term ambition.
